Delicious and well priced wines, a relaxed atmosphere and high quality & well made food all served with a genuine smile, time for the client and a real hub of our neighborhood. This is what Vino Vino means to me.

They don’t mind teaching the customer a thing or two about wine if asked, having lived in Italy for so long they, the sommelier, manager, all the staff really have introduced me to gems, a lot of natural wines, very thoughtfully made wines and all of this at really decent prices and with a genuine friendliness and pride in their work and craft that has no price.

Paula, Nik, Kelly you are and will be forever engraved in my heart.

My favourites? The Wagyu slider, with the most delicious pickled onions and cornichons ever. The ribeye steak, so perfectly cooked, generousely portioned and laid on top of deliciousely wilted veggies and greens. A moist and incredibly flavored quail, gently nestled on a nutty, toothsome but somehow light pilaf.

The watermelon salad, with sweet, not bitter Arugula, which means young baby Arugula and most likely hand selected. The genius touch of pistachio and perfectly dressed with just the right amount of oil and citrus or vinegar. The butter lettuce salad with fried capers and boiled egg white shavings. Everything they do is right, works and is simply amazing. (Gushing I know but it’s from the heart)

I am not fond of dessert but Kirsten the pastry chef has magic and a lot of love in her hands and her olive oil icecream and poundcake are just that… magical. I have been known to go in just for that.

If it is possible to love a restaurant the way you do a person, I love this place and all the people that work there. It is a home and you are their cherished guest while there. Thank you
